The national operator may quote you a higher price since someone has to pay for the operator. FYI- When I called Safelite my quote was handled by an operator. My quote from Speedy Glass was given to me by the technician that actually did the work.

I presume that if I go with safelite or any of those non-dealership autoglass replacement companies, I will basically lose the heated windshield wiper function. Frankly, I've hardly used it anyway here in NJ, global warming and all that so that is not a big deal. I was just unsure when I looked at safelite's free online quote feature where it asked me if I had heated seats and I tried both and the one difference is the heated wiper option.
