The replacement sealer is double-sided foam with a protective pull-off coating on both sides and is EXTREMELY sticky. installing the new sealer in the glass frame, I suggest leaving the pull-off coating on the glass side of the sealer in place and dry-fitting the glass into the frame. It can be a very tight fit and/or the frame may be a little bit out of square. Then leave a small gap between the glass and the sealer and use a small pair of pliers to pull off the protective coating through the gap, similar to installing a counter-top with contact cement. the glass touches the sealer, it is in place permanently! Recognize that the new glass is darkened, NOT one-way, and therefore at night the inside of the RV is visible from

Ross Clear View entry window kit We wanted to replace the opaque factory entrance window with one that lets us actually see what is outside our door. We watched the online video instructions a couple of times and then followed the written instructions as we actually did the installation. The hardest part of the whole process for us was that our existing window was attached to the outside frame with glue, instead of an adhesive tape, and cleaning the old glue from the frame was time consuming (and involved the use of a Dremel grinder).

Other than that, the installation did not take more than 45 minutes and was really easy and problem free. The window has a professional appearance from inside and outside the coach. The increased visibility is really nice because it makes the whole front portion of the coach appear more open and bright. We think that it enhances safety, because you can clearly see what is outside without opening the door. From outside, you really cannot see into the coach during the day, but when it is dark outside and illuminated inside, you can see in pretty clearly. The manufacturer makes a really nice vinyl shade that installs in 15 minutes and attaches to the screen door via magnets so its easy to put up or take down. We are very happy with this purchase and highly recommend this upgrade. Installation went smooth, love that you can see outside now. The extra sunlight is a plus on that side of the camper. We have the dark windows and this one matches perfectly with all the others on our Crossroads Sunset Trail.

All my windows are tinted and it just did not look right with the original door glass. What a difference, and it's easy to install. I bought a new white window frame at the same time as my old one was getting a little yellow. The install went very smooth, about 45 minutes from pulling tools out to putting them away. I did watch the video first. The window matches our other windows very well and looks great. It's very nice to be able to see outside at the door. In the daytime you cannot see inside from outside. However, at night with interior lights on, someone outside can see inside fairly well. I was expecting better night time privacy. With all of the glass coatings out there this should not be hard to do. I absolutely love to difference it made and the ability to now look out the window of the door. It was super easy to install, took maybe 30 mins. It fit perfect, the old glazing tape came off with ease and I couldn't be happier with the results. It looks great from the outside and the in.
