bmw e30 door panels for sale Through our PLAY program we offer financial assistance to qualifying residents who would like to participate in CVRD recreational activities but find it difficult to do so due to financial limitations. The PLAY program provides a combination of free and discounted rates for admissions and registered programs. PLAY is for residents of Courtenay, Comox, Cumberland and Areas A, B, and C of the Comox Valley Regional District, who are working low income, on BC Benefits and/or with a combined gross family income below Statistics Canada Low Income Guidelines. Complete a PLAY application form [PDF - 295 KB]or pick one up from the CVRD Sports or Aquatics Centres. Application to the PLAY program must be made every calendar year.

Be sure to bring the required documentation, as listed on the application form, to your PLAY appointment. Children's Fitness Tax CreditMany of the CVRD’s physical activity programs for children and teens (under the age of 16) may be eligible for the federal government Children’s Fitness Tax Credit. The Children’s Fitness Tax Credit is a refundable tax credit of up to $1,000 per eligible child. This credit may be claimed for the 2015 calendar year by parents who have registered their child in eligible programs of physical activity. What kinds of programs are eligible for the credit?The credit applies to supervised children's programs that have a significant physical-activity component, where participation over time can be reasonably expected to result in improved fitness, particularly cardio-respiratory endurance, as well as muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and balance. Duration of programsTo be eligible, programs must be ongoing. Which means they must be a minimum of eight consecutive weeks, with a minimum of one session per week, or in the case of children’s camps, five consecutive days.
ReceiptsThe CVRD provides receipts for registration of all programs and lessons at time of payment. Child fitness tax receipts are available for pick up at the CVRD’s aquatic centre located at 377 Lerwick Road, Courtenay until May 31, 2016.
