Is it possible to use this to trim the bottom side of baseboards so that they do not have to be removed from the wall to put new flooring down? Yes, it is possible to trim the bottom of the baseboard but the cuts will follow the undulation in the floor and may not look uniform. We recommend taking the base off and reinstalling or leaving the base on and installing ¼ round molding against the existing base. Do you have to just use roberts blades, or can you use a different brand of saw blade? We only warranty our Jamb Saw when used with our Roberts blades. Can this saw be used to cut flush with the wall, vertically down through the subflooring? Does this saw come wood blade also The Roberts 10-56 Longneck Plus 6" Jamb Saw comes with a 6-3/16 in 36-tooth carbide tip blade and a masonry blade.
