For a traditional style, measure the length of the window including the frame and add nine inches to get the length of your curtains, then measure the width and multiply by 1.5 to get the curtains' width. For a contemporary style, which hangs just above the floor, measure your curtains from one inch above the floor to six inches above the top of your window frame. Shop for curtains that are the same length as your measurement and 1.5 times the width of your window. For a fancier style that almost touches the ceiling and hangs on the floor, measure from the ceiling to the floor and add at least eight inches to get the curtains' length, then multiply your window's width by three to get the curtains' width.

High to low rating Low to high rating I'm a guy that knows nothing about drapes .found a utube vid on how to install those pin hangars ,used the traverse rod,I think that what it was called,got er done.need to iron out the packing creases or maybe the humidity will get rid of the wrinkles ,knocks out the light good,used over a energy efficient large window.on that traverse rod I assumed the pull cord was on the right as I wanted the panel to slide to the left,but the cord is on the left also no big deal just wasn't they way I thought it would be I've never ordered drapes on-line before. Walmart made me a believer. So much so I just ordered two futons with consoles today. If they are as good as the drapes the room is going to be wonderful. , these curtain are excellent, they are lined and very nice material. The price was very good too compared to what I saw in other websites. I orders 4 panels that worked perfect for my custom living room window and I saved over $500.00 dollars from pricing other curtains.

We bought these for our sliding glass door & theyIf your wondering about buying these, don't! I'm so glad we did. We had the regular long white blinds up & Can already feel a difference in the house, it's getting pretty cold where I Live & now we can keep our heat on 76 degrees & it's nice & toasty inside. This was for a bedroom sliding door and I was very concerned with with the room darkening affect. This not only looks good, but serves it's purpose greatly. I am not a picky person, just wanted some nice curtains and didn't want to pay a fortune. I am happy with these curtains, they look and hang nice. Good value for the price and you don't have to drive from store to store looking ... I got the dark brown and I love the deep rich color ... The drapes completely met all my expectations except I had planned to use three prong hooks to hang them and they are sewn so that you can only use one prong or tabs.

No problem, just different than I expected. Also, they are darker than I prefer. It would be nice if they came in a lighter shade. They hang very nice.
