The TOGETHER FOR SAFER SCHOOLS Grant Program STANLEY's first TOGETHER FOR SAFER SCHOOLS Grant Program started in 2013, and was offered to K-12 schools. This year, STANLEY extended the second grant program to higher education institutions, where over 200 schools participated. Early this year, these schools rallied their communities together to raise awareness for security and earn votes to win the grant. As the grand prize winners in the contest, the University of North Texas (UNT) located in Denton, TX will receive a $200,000 grant, the University of West Georgia (UWG) located in Carrollton, GA will receive a $150,000 grant and Kilgore College (KC) located in Kilgore, TX will receive a $100,000 grant.
The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) in Arlington, TX is the recipient of a $75,000 grant, NorthWest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville, AR is the recipient of a $50,000 grant, and Aquinas College located in Grand Rapids, MI is the recipient of a $25,000 grant.
