You can also download and print the guide off the website listed. View all answers to this question (4)For a special dinner, I would eat at The Hobbit, Hooked, Catch 54 or Fager's Island. For a fun night out, try Seacrets; for a Cinco de Mayo theme try Tequila Mockingbird (great food, good drinks) or Guidos Burritos (good food/great drinks). For a birthday cake, try Bake My Day or Harris Teeter in Fenwick Island. For a limo, I would actually rely on cabs. There are several cabs companies in OC and cabs are easy to find at most restaurants. I am sure you could even hire a cabbie for the night. View all answers to this question (3) The drive to the park is easy from Ocean City. It takes about 40 minutes. There are no buses that I know of, but you can take the Assateague Adventure. That is a great boat trip that leaves from Ocean City. You will see the ponies from the water. There is no guarantee of seeing the ponies, but we have always seen them and we go a few times a year.

Every year at OC Tober Fest usually the third Saturday in October, there is a pet parade on the boardwalk where pets dress up.

Answered: February 4, 2017 I know the Greene Turtle is running some great game time food and drink specials. Seacrets is showing the game on their big screen in both the bars and Morley Hall - they have some food specials as well. I would head to one of those locations. View all answers to this question (6) Answered: February 2, 2017 The beginning of your trip is Cruise Weekend, which is one of the first really big weekends of the season. Except for some rides at some amusement parks and the water parks, pretty much everything in town will be open while you are there. Answered: January 30, 2017 I do not know of a place that rents lift chairs in OC, but can suggest two places for you to contact that might be able to help you or point you in the right direction. PMI Rentals (800.320.7469) rents all kinds of things. If they don't rent lift chairs they may know of a plaice that does! Apple Discount Drugs in nearby Berlin (410.641.3130). See their website for hours and directions.

They rent all kinds of medical equipment and may be able to point you to someplace that rents these types of chairs. I'd suggest staying in a nice mid-town location. My two top recommendations for places to stay are: Dunes Manor is a couple of blocks north of the boardwalk at 28th street, all rooms are ocean front with balconies. It is an easy walk to the north end of the boardwalk. This is one of my favorite properties in OC, and the place I always recommend if I am only recommending one place. My family stays there often. They have adjoining rooms available if you want to be able to move among your group's rooms. Holiday Inn Oceanfront - 67th Street - An excellent hotel right on the beach. They have a great outdoor pool with a bar and a nice hammock area along the beach. I have stayed here several times. Here are a some ideas of things to do: Seacrets is OC's #1 party destination, and they do a great job with Bachelorette parties; contact them (410.524.4900) to get setup with them for your group.

Fager's Island (410.524.5500) at 60th Street on the bay also caters to bachelorette parties. You can contact them to see if they can host part of your festivities. Go to a spa with your group. Some great options are OC Massage, Grand Aqua Spa, and Creative Day Spa. I recently ran across a new charter cruise company that could perhaps help you setup a private party cruise for your group. I have not tried them yet, but they look promising. They are OC Swim Call. You can reach them at 443.235.4950 and see if they may be able to help you setup a fun night. If you want to do some bar-hopping on the bay, try the Buzz Boat Water taxi. Call Captain Alex Trimper at 571.512.2727 to find out more. OC has lots of great clubs and bars. Some great bars I recommend are The Cork Bar, Bearded Clam, Fish Tales, and Longboards. Another bar I like for great music is The Purple Moose Saloon on the boardwalk between Talbot and Caroline Streets. There are several local breweries and wineries in the area.

Click on the links, and check one or more of them out! If anyone likes to gamble, visit The Casino at Ocean Downs, about 5 miles outside of OC on Route 589, Racetrack road, about 1/2 mile north of Route 50. Checkout the interesting shops in nearby Berlin. While you are in Berlin, take in a show at the Globe Theatre. If your group likes an adventure in the great outdoors, consider a kayak trip. I've been out several times with Assateague Outfitters - they do a great job and the trips are a lot of fun. Plus, you will see the famous Assateague wild horses! I've been out with people from age 8 to age 70 and everyone had a great time! Have a great time with your friends in OC! Ocean City does not have any specific restrictions that would prevent you from removing the doors, but the State of Maryland does have restrictions that prevent you from legally operating a Grand Cherokee with the doors removed. The issue is that Maryland does not allow for doors to be removed from vehicles that were not factory-configured to have removable doors.

Thus, you cannot remove them and operate your Cherokee legally on Maryland roads. In some cases, a Jeep Wrangler can operate legally in Maryland without doors. The distinction does not relate to the mirrors (although in all cases a driver's side mirror is required), but instead is based on the Wrangler's doors not being considered part of a Wrangler's safety equipment (the doors are specifically excluded by Jeep). In contrast, the Cherokee's doors are part of its body structure, and therefore are considered a safety component, and thus are required to legally operate the vehicle in Maryland. If you want to double check, call the OCPD non-emergency line at 410.723.6610. If they tell you it is okay, I'd be sure to get the name of the person you speak to, just in case. Answered: January 25, 2017 You should be fine the first week of June since many of the Maryland schools don't get out until a bit later. The second and third weeks of June tend to be the busiest. The water is still quite cool then, but you can swim and life guards will be on duty.
