One of Andrew’s favorite examples of this is when an entire family came down from North Georgia with a truck and trailer. Their goal was to help their son and his new wife renovate their new home and start their lives together. These two non-profit organizations came together to facilitate a redevelopment effort in the Lakewood Heights Community in Atlanta and received an initial donation of product from HD Supply as they closed their Conyers store. Having an oversupply of material from projects and seeing the need to re-purpose and recycle building materials from projects, Reclaim It Atlanta was born.
