Happy New Year Everyone!  –   **HOLIDAY ALERT** – Old Soul will be open as usual until Sunday Jan 15 — but for the two weeks after the 15th we will only be open on Saturdays and Sundays (Jan 21, 22 and Jan 28,29). Still plenty of time to shop and place your special orders! We wish everyone a happy and healthy Holiday Season and an amazing New Year.    We will be closed until Tuesday Jan. 3. Winter in Ontario has alot going for it — some things a little more subtle than others.  It is the time that most of us can slow down a little bit and take stock of the place we live.   With long evenings inside, we find ourselves in the coziest rooms of the house – – dressed in warm sweaters and underneath warm blankets – and if we are lucky we have a fire going.   If you want to look for some special items for decorating this winter — come in and take a peak- we have items from times gone by — including an amazing collection of Vintage Milk Glass — wood and metal furniture and accessories – local art – and some fun painted up furniture.    

Take the time to enjoy your home this winter – you’ve worked hard for it! There is nothing more satisfying than creating – IMHO.  Whether you make things from scratch or work with found materials the outcome will no doubt be spectacular.   We have been collecting a variety of materials for you to begin your next project with – reclaimed wood – live edge wood – doors & windows – architectural accoutrements and appliques —  we have even manufactured some sturdy Hairpin Legs and Shelf Brackets!   Stop in with your list  – or ask us to design and build for you… we would be happy to help you out!
