Amazing live music in a familiar adult scene. The owner a chef come to your table to converse greet you. Good happy hour too! We stopped here for dinner. It was our first time. Our party had a great dinner and got out the door with a small check for 4. I would reccomend this place to my friends and family. I went here for a colleague dinner and although I've heard great reviews about this restaurant, I would have to say that I was disappointed. The house merlot was just ok, and I would say not as great as most of the chain restaurants that I have visited. They would do better to select a new brand perhaps? This is a great restaurant for a relaxing and delicious dining experience. We have gone with friends and as a couple - the food does not disappoint. The staff are attentive and not overwhelming.

This restaurant is a little treasure in Eastlake Chula Vista they have a beautiful patio so you can eat inside or outside all food is excellent seafood and Italian; their appetizers including crispy fried calamari, as well as freshly baked bread with olive oil and vinegar which was excellent!. The location is ideal for south bay, bar, tables setting is just right. Food has always been very good. The outside Patio sitting perfect for a San Diego weather afternoon. The piano music in evenings complements the place. Start by buying an extra package of Tums from a nearby store, then cancel other plans -you will be there a while. The food has its moments, but mostly the qualities are not worth the hours of indigestion that follow. Service is generally fair at best, don't expect your order to come quickly. Not how I wanted to be woke up, especially with little kids with. My son also forgot his headphones in the dresser. I filed a report and still have yet to hear back if they were found or not. I was hoping someone would check on this right away!We stayed in this hotel 5 other times before, and enjoyed each of our stays. But we were very disappointed for the latest stay because of the following reasons: 1.The room we checked in had bad odor, so we asked for a different one 2.The room we switched to has its kitchen and living area only half size of the one we had (with bad odor) 3. We were told the only other available room is the same small size room - I doubted the claim because the parking lot was more than half empty, so we stayed because there is no option for us. 4. In the kitchen, the serving spoon was broken and some small spoons were missing.

My phone to the front desk was not answered so I had to go down to the front desk. Fortunately I met a room service staff in the hall way to save my third trip to the front desk. 5. The thermostat was not working. We basically stayed in hot room over night, and need to opened windows to cool it down. It was a very disappointed stay.We stayed here to enjoy the water park and other hotel amenities while we weren't skiing. The water park bathroom was horribly dirty in the afternoon and I don't recall seeing one staff member. Wet towels everywhere, stalls dirty with trash, etc. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day. The little game room by the restaurant was a disappointment and the machines ate our tokens. The bounce thing smelled bad. The craft stuff was also a disappointment for the cost. The restaurant had good food and service, but they should be more clear about the gratuity. Our waitress was tipped double. Kiminski's should not be missed - amazing meal.Had a great time at watepark and there was lots of other things to do in the area.
