In the mid 80’s, when new Karona clients requested interior and exterior doors from the small 10 person workforce, Karona accommodated the growth by moving to a new facility in Grandville, Michigan. At the same time Karona became a key supplier to many residential two-step distributors. Over the years the Karona reputation for high quality doors created additional demand for both commercial and residential products. As volumes went up and distribution grew to a national level, so did the need for additional space and more modern manufacturing equipment. That demand led/allowed/helped the company to double in size and move to a 100,000 square foot facility in the 80 acre Karona Industrial Park in Caledonia, Michigan, southeast of Grand Rapids. Today, Karona's team members supply high-quality door products through residential and commercial distribution.
