The Honda Jazz sits in the supermini class with tough rivals like the Ford Fiesta, SEAT Ibiza, Peugeot 208 and Volkswagen Polo, but it has some unique attributes. With a tall roof and boxy proportions, it boasts class-leading practicality and is also tuned to be very easy to maneuver and drive, particularly in town, where most will spend their time. There’s just one 1.3-litre petrol with 101bhp, so your only decision is whether to go with a manual six-speed gearbox or a continuously variable transmission (CVT) automatic. Either way, this engine needs to be worked hard and isn’t as fast or flexible as turbocharged rivals from Volkswagen and Ford. Other than this difference, the V CVT gets an array of extras that are absent in S CVT such as alloy wheels, rear wiper and washer and turn indicators on outside. Inside the cabin, Jazz V CVT features advanced multi-information combination meter with LCD display and Blue backlight, segment first eco assist system with ambient rings on combimeter, instantaneous fuel economy display, outside temperature display, cruising range, leather wrapped steering wheel, glossy silver inner door handles and silver door ornament.
