Garador is a well-known British garage door brand. It was born by Westland helicopters in the 1970’s. Now owned by Hormann, Europe’s biggest and most prestigious, quality garage door manufacturer, it offers a large range of up and over doors (including the new Guardian range of Secured by Design up and over garage doors), sectional garage doors, side-hinged and insulated roller doors. All Garador garage doors are compliant to BS 13241. Garador steel up and over doors are manufactured from a thick grade of high quality steel, unlike most of its competitors’ doors. The German-designed, secret welded chassis frame is neat and strong. This chassis system is used to manufacture the entire range of up and over doors in steel, PVC, timber and GRP (glassfibre). This chassis is galvanised and powdercoated. All steel doors are galvanised and powdercoated, as standard. Most sizes are available ex-stock in white, some in brown and, on slightly longer lead times, all sizes and models can come in a range of colours.
