The old one finally wore out and it was time to replace it. the new one works great. I would highly reccomend this keypad to anyone. Easy to set up and use. Installation took only about an hour start to finish and wasn't difficult at all. Price with shipping beat my local hardware store and the unit appears to be well made.

Works great , very easy to install and set up!!!! So easy to program and install. If I can do it anyone can (I'm a 69 yr old grandma). The only thing I find odd about it is that basically the 0 key doubles as the enter key. Works great so have nothing negative to say about it. Replaced a Craftsman opener. This one works great and was easy to install. It is a little difficult to slide the cover to access the keypad. Hope this will become easier with more use. Easy to setup with my Raynor opener. Once I got the keypad programmed, it's OK. However, I had to search through reviews and noticed several that indicated the instructions are wrong. My GDO is a Type 4. The instructions indicate that the programming of the keypad should take place prior to hitting the LEARN button on my Overhead Brand GDO. Actually, I needed to hit the LEARN button first, then begin the programming process. followed directions to the letter (many times), did not work. got disgusted, went to lowes and purchased a genie brand remote keypad.

worked the first time i tried it. my door is overhead door brand. the chamberlain was advertised to work with overhead door. maybe i just got a bad unit, but i was not willing to wait another 10 days to try a replacement. Highly recommended product and I demand the best. Instructions and U Tube video made programming easy. Attached to outer wall and ready to go. Much easier then running wires.
