Continuous Blinking Green Light on Wall Garage Door Opener A green light on the wall mount of my Craftsman garage door opener continuously flashes and the door neither opens nor closes. Intermittently, the car remotes will work. As suggested in some posts, I've tried pressing the lock button for a few seconds with no response. Any suggestions before I call the repair company? did you check the floor sensors by the garage door to make sure they are aligned? Thanks for your response. The sensors at the bottom of the door show one with a yellow light and one is green. Should both be green? I tried to get the one with the yellow light to show green, but no luck. However, the best way to check to make sure you're not spending unnecessary money. There's a button to the right of the garage door opener (this is the one attached inside your garage), press the one to the right (the one that you lock the garage). You will notice the light on the opener will stop blinking (there's a steady green light). After that, check to see if this unlock the wireless device inside your vehicle. unit is in lock mode-hold down the lock button for 5 seconds and it should go to steady green light and work correctly- no button on the side of wall mount light. This worked for me. My garage door was working fine but the light was blinking on the wall. The sensors were fine. It didn't work the first time, but after 2-3 times this worked and got rid of the annoying blinking!Had to do with the "learn" button on the motor, and pressing one remote, resulting in both car and remote working again and the blinking stopped. Turns out someone pressed the "lock" button as someone earlier suggested. Pressing it again took it out of lock mode. Hope that helps others in the future Thanks...that worked for me and the opener works fine again. This solved my issue. I didn't even know that I could lock it. Pushed the smaller button on wall switch which has a small picture of lock. I confirmed the sensors by garage door: one was green and the other yellow. Pressed lock switch on wall controller and held down for 5 seconds and now solid (no flashing) green light and car controllers work.
