dutch entry doors orange county

When there comes a time that you need a new front door, or maybe you want to change out all of the interior doors in your home, you will most likely go to someone you can trust to do the job--And, firstly, that would be a state licensed contractor (hopefully). A contractor, who is CSLB (Contractors State Licensing Board) certified, would (by law) be carrying valid proof with him/her at all times, and would be willing to produce the documentation--on the spot, at your request--proving his/her legitimacy. Be safe not sorry! The "Door Doctor” business was started by me years ago, so that I could help people find the right person to repair their door problems. For example, when your doors are rubbing on the jambs, or they don’t latch properly, you need to find someone who works with that sort of thing on a daily basis and can repair the problem accurately. Your doors, and how they work, cannot be easily understood by the most typical “Handyman.” Furthermore, if your home is broken into (God forbid), you need more than a BEGINNER in door repair--You need a DOCTOR in door repair. . . .

Things I've learned about "tricks of the trade" in door repair can be learned only by years of simply "jumping in" and figuring out the problem. I now have these years of experience.

, what would be the purpose of installing a “pre-hung” door? And, if you know someone who can take the new door by itself, install it in the same place as the previous one, and charge you a hundred or so dollars less than the cost of the “pre-hung” door, why wouldn’t this be of interest to you?
garage door sales peterboroughAlso, installing a “pre-hung” door will sometimes create damage to your home’s stucco, walls, wood flooring or carpet. When you purchase a door from your local door company, they will usually tell you all the reasons you SHOULD buy a “pre-hung” door—It has all new jambs, threshold, weatherstripping, hinges, etc. However, it has been my experience that the reason they suggest this is because they (or their workers) are not completely qualified, nor competent, in simply “hanging” the door in a "custom" fashion....Nevertheless, although my expertise lies in BOTH types of door installation, you can see why I lean toward “custom” door hanging....

It will be my pleasure to talk with you more about this and other repair problems when you call.
