Being a monocoque SUV, the KUV100 is a front-wheel drive vehicle. The vehicle's light platform helps it achieve high fuel efficiency while offering a great performance. The company says that the KUV100 petrol version returns an ARAI-certified mileage of 18.23kmpl, while the diesel version returns an impressive 25.3kmpl. Mahindra KUV 100 is also the country's first ever sub-compact SUV with 6-seat configuration, though there will be a 5-seat version as well on offer.
Mahindra KUV100 Specifications & Engine Options Besides the all-new platform, the Mahindra KUV100 also features an all-new engine family called mFALCOn that has been developed in-house completely. Interestingly, the KUV100 will be the first Mahindra SUV to feature a petrol engine. While the petrol engine, 1.2-litre mFALCON G80, develops 82bhp and 114Nm, the 1.2-litre mFALCON D75 diesel unit is good for 77bhp and 190Nm.
