I called Larry Tues. afternoon about both my front pwr windows broken. He took my information and gave me a quote over the phone. He was at my house the next morning, and in an hour and a half had both the windows working perfectly. Also, one of the wasn't what he originally thought and he charged me half of what he originally quoted. He was very professional and extremely nice. Will def. use him again and will refer to all my friends! • Link to this review I contacted Larry who said he understood and could do the job in one hour. Larry arrived on time the next day, but evidently he did not listen to me as I reported the make/model of my car...therefore he was not prepared. Larry also started to work on the wrong window - after directing him to the right windows he said "I don't like working on 25 year old cars...I have no prior experience."

(He was informed of the vehicle beforehand, what was needed and he argued that he had the window motors in stock and understood the job.) Larry could/would not even attempt the job! BEWARE of this guy! He wasted my time and effort! Larry came to my home to repair my window within 3 days of contacting him for a quote. It cost about $270 for the repair of my 2003 Mazda MPV driver side window. My window had been stuck open one inch for over. The dealer told me it could run $500. Larry was on time and super nice. And I think it was about 20 degrees outside that morning. I have a 2004 Cadillac Deville that I inherited from my parents. Within a week of each other, the two right window regulators broke. I left an e-mail with PWRA and Larry called me within 10 minutes. He quoted me a price and we set a repair date. He came to my home in North Forsyth County, was on time and fixed both windows in 55 minutes. A dealer was going to charge me about $900 to fix them and Larry did it for $360.

and a warranty to boot!!! Both windows work perfectly. If you have a power window problem, give Larry a call. I have a ten year old Audi-A4. the front driver side window stopped working. I took it to a local garage. The mechanic said, it is a bad window regulator. It will be ~435$ to repair (for parts and service). I read the outstanding reviews for Larry's PWRA on Kudzu and decided to give him a call.

He took the door apart, got the working and didn't have to replace any parts - just greased everything up and cleaned out some junk. No doubt he saved ~400$. He came the same day I first emailed him and was right on time for the appointment. and am glad I did! I called Larry and found him to be friendly and very professional. He called me back within a couple of hours of my initial phone call to tell me he had located the part for my car and could set-up an appointment for the next day. He came to my office building, arrived early and had my car fixed within 30 minutes! I saved 40% over what the dealership quoted me plus I saved time and aggravation because I didn't have to sit and wait somewhere to have my window fixed. I will definitely recommend him to everyone I know. Never in my life have I ever been treated so rudely by a man in my life. Larry replaced the regulator in my power window and it did now roll up and down like new. But before he worked on it, with just a simple touch the window would roll up or down.

I guess that this is called a one touch system. Well this wasnt working anymore, and I was concerned. Larry did not want to put forth the effort to figure out what was happening, and instead wanted to just put in the old regulator and leave. He said that he didnt have time because he had other appointments...he seriously said that. You would think that he would want each and every customer 100% satisfied. I wanted to figure it out, but once he was VERY RUDE AND RAISED HIS VOICE AT ME, I took it upon myself to call the BMW dealership and they said it was as easy as stopping by the dealership and them reconfiguring the settings. I bet that Larry wished that he would have been proactive and wanted to call them to get that easy of an answer. All in all, I DO NOT RECOMMEND POWER WINDOW REPAIR OF ATLANTA. It is sad, I wish that I could recommend him, because I know that small businesses are hurting in this economy, but I would have rather paid dealership prices and gotten the customer service that anyone deserves.

I experienced a problem with my Driver's Side window (for a '99 Acura) on a Sunday. I called Power Window of Atlanta that evening and left a message stating that the window went down and but would not go back up. I received a call-back the very next day, got a basic diagnosis and estimate over the phone. My car was repaired that very day for a price $50 cheaper than originally quoted (the problem ended up being slightly different than diagnosed sight unseen) AND the price was approximately $200 cheaper than the dealership's estimate. I would not hesitate to use this service again and have already recommended him to my neighbor! This was the 2nd time I used Larry's services. I have a 99 Camry and the regulator/motor went out on 2 of my power windows at different times. Larry came to my location and fixed the windows in no time. He was very nice and cleaned up after finishing his work. I would definitely recommend him as I have NOT found anyone that does mobile service, let alone not charge me an arm and a leg for parts and labor (ie. dealership)
