a rare partly-sunny day, I decided to head toward Notting Hill because I remember enjoying my day there four years ago. time, I tried to explore the side streets off the infamous Portobello Road. glad I did because I quickly became distracted by all the beautiful colored rowDifferent shades of rainbows and muted pastel colors filled many of the streets of this now posh neighborhood. of these stunning row houses can be yours for the bargain price of £3 to £10 million ($4.5 to $15 million). I knew London was one of the most expensive cities in the world, but really? Although I'm not a huge fan of pinks, this color calls to me. I'd heard about this place and it was top of my hit list. It certainly didn't disappoint. Went with a gal pal....had booked in advance (a must). Wonderfully warm welcome by the housemates. We were sat at the bar....perfect for when the masses come in so we continued with direct access to our new housemates. I think we drank ALL... This place is awesome. Potentially a little tricky to find, as the entrance really is a little yellow door do the middle of the high street. I would recommend this bar to anyone with an open mind. Definitely not the sort of place to visit if you're prudish or lack a sense of humour. The cocktails are your standard London... This is a really cute cocktail bar right in the centre of notting hill gate with a fun party atmosphere. If you want a unique experience definitely try this place. Queues can take a while to get in and if you're not on the guestlist you might struggle but its definitely worth a visit.
This is a really cool little place. Nice vibe and good music... But I paid £24.75 for just 4 drinks! A small lemonade, a corona, a glass of house white, and a vodka and coke. What are you playing at?! I feel so ripped off. As two tables didn't turn up we were able to sit and have food and order quite a few drinks. The management made a big fuss about us not booking a table but in the end we ended up filling... Really funky little place, felt like you were going to a house party with a bit more space! We had the Emoji menu, which was 2 courses and a cocktail for £20. When we first arrived we were really unsure about what was going on, it felt super unorganised and a little bit uncomfortable. The lovely Rupi( apologies if I have spelt it wrong) picked up on this straight away and came over to speak to us, and asked what she could do. She went away with our criticism and surpassed our...
