The rule of thumb to figure out what the rough opening for an interior door is to measure the actual door and then add 2” inches to the width and the height. Double doors I add an additional ½” to the width. So if you have a 32” x 80” door the rough opening would be 34” x 82”. This is only a rule of thumb so I would suggest asking what the actual frame dimensions are for the manufacture that you’re getting the door from.
