The answer is to keep your finger in the same position as when it was read. This can be done by simply feeling for the joint, on the reading glass window with the crease of the fist joint of your finger. This ensures you have the same position every time. The other thing is to apply pressure. Ar first I was having problems reading my finger print, then I just applied more pressure - and bingo. You've got to practise a few times to get used to it, but once you know - it's a fantastic bit of kit. Took 3 days to reach me in the UK, then I had to pay £9 duty, which wasn't bad. Track it to you local DHL depot, then give them a ring regarding the duty.
