The 2016 Jeep Wrangler is offered in both two-door, four-passenger Jeep Wrangler models and four-door, five-passenger Jeep Wrangler Unlimited models. All models come powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that generates 285 horsepower and 260 pound-foot of torque. It comes with standard full-time, four-wheel drive with high- and low-range gearing. It also comes paired to a six-speed manual transmission with hill start assist, while a five-speed automatic with both hill start assist and hill descent control is optional. The two-door model can two up to 2,000 pounds while the four-door can tow up to 3,500 pounds. In industry testing, two door models accelerated from zero to 60 in an impressive 6.9 seconds, which is much quicker than previous generations. The compact SUV is available in three core trim levels: Sport, Sahara, and Rubicon with additional special models that are based on those trims as well. Both models come standard with a vinyl convertible roof, while a hardtop with easily removable panels is available.

Standard equipment on the Sport is pretty sparse, but includes on/off-road tires, a full-size spare tire, skid plates, tow hooks, fog lamps, removable doors, fold-down windshield, cruise control, cloth upholstery, and more!
